Apple Stock at $668.80
I just happened to check my stock portfolio to look at the (very) small amount of Apple stock that I own. Just so everyone knows, I did NOT load up my portfolio with Apple stock when it traded at the below $15 share price in 2001.
Today, I noticed that AAPL closed at $668.80 today. That means if I had bought $100 worth of shares then (not counting splits) my $100 would now be worth $4,458.66. Since I believe, the stock split twice, it would be much higher.
Hopefully some of you purchased in 2001!
Another great thing about buying from IGG Software (other than their excellent products) is that you’re supporting another Vermont business. They’re located in Putney, VT.
I bought this program and used it for a while, but ultimately I switched back to Quicken. Downloading transactions from my bank into my check register and reconciling my checkbook are both just easier in Quicken.
However, I’m going to keep an eye on this software. I think it has a lot of potential to compete with Quicken.
