Over on AppleInsider they have an article talking about how the new Intel iMac stacks up against the previous generation iMacs. They also have a benchmark test between the new Mac minis and the old Intel ones and even the G4 Mac minis.

Obviously the newer machines did better on the tests, sometimes up to 39% better. The new 24” iMac is a really powerful computer.

BareFeats.com also has some benchmark tests on the new iMacs.

Yes! I can not for the life of me figure out why the American people put up with such a backward system.

Let’s get the facts right. Al Gore had about 440,000 more votes than Bush out of nearly 100 million cast. That’s less than .5% of all votes cast. And neither had a majority. Bush 50,456,00247.87%Gore 50,999,89748.38%

I believe that every vote should count, and be counted.

So if a candidate receives ONE more vote than his/her opponents in the popular election, then he/she wins.

The Founders of the Constitution believed that the Right to govern came from the
    Consent of the People.

That’s NOT what happened in either of the past TWO Presidential elections. Voter suppression and dirty tricks threw the election both times.

No, it was not voter suppression. And as far as dirty tricks: Bush had more electoral votes. Gore tried to have military votes (which historically tend to skew Republican) thrown out in order to tip the balance in his favor. He was denied. It is an extremely popular misconception that Bush “stole” the election. Say what you will about the quality of his leadership, but please let’s drop this crap about the stolen election(s).
