Some people regard their Mac as a pet – a cheery companion that sits in the corner of their room or office, just waiting for a little attention. It’s easy to take care of, requiring very little electricity, exercise, or grooming. However, a little maintenance can help keep a Mac healthy and happy. Here is a great article outlining how to do basic Mac maintenance. To keep my Macs happy, I also use a free program called OnyX to run some basic Unix and Mac maintience scripts. I don’t play any games on my computer, I play all my games on my XBox 360. When I bought my 360 back in January along with Call of Duty 2, my friend said “You can just get that for PC”, but the problem was that I would need to spend well over a $1000 to get a system decent enough to play the game as well as the $400 XBox 360. While the $400 might be high, it is nothing compared to what you can spend on a good PC gaming rig. I like knowing that each game that says “Made for XBox 360” will work on my system and I don’t have to worry about minimum system requirements and such. I am also more of a social gamer, I like playing games with friends, I find the PC to be very individual with no option of another playing along side you in the room. I think both computer and console games will continue to prosper, and we will see more and more cross over games like we do now.Games are getting extremely expensive to produce and it is silly for most 3rd party developers to only develop for one system, it is more cost effective to put a game out on multiple systems.
