    Just a quick warning – if you have updated your hard drive you may have partitioned it as Mac OSX HFS+ Journaled with Apple Partition Scheme, this firmware update requires HFS+ with the GUID partition scheme. If your HD is not GUID you need to back up and then repartition and restore from your backup to install the update. I used Super Duper! from Shirt Pocket Software my backup and restore and the update went smoothly.
