Apple is recalling 1.8 million lithium-ion notebook batteries after nine devices overheated, causing minor burns in two users. Apparently this is the second-biggest computer battery recall in U.S. history, after Dell’s recall of 4.1 million lithium-ion batteries. Both companies use batteries made by Sony Corp..
